This tab is essential since financial and estate planning often involves problems that occur upon the second of two deaths. This set shows the expected number of years until the 2nd death, the probability that both persons will live that long, the probability that neither person will live that long, the probability that at least one of the two persons will live that long, and the probability that at least one person will die before that long.
Additionally, the Joint and Survivor Statistics results show the age of each person if they survive the expected number of years until the 2nd death, the probability for each person that he will survive to that age, the probability for each person that he will survive to that age and the other person will not, and the probability for each person that he will die before that age but the other person will not. These results also show the median number of years to the 2nd death. Again, the median number of years to the 2nd death may not be the same as the expected number of years to the 2nd death.
